    You and I understand the history aspect , will any written history come with the rifle from CMP ? To me the history is all it has going for it as nice transition and pre war mod 70's are out there, the old codgers are passing on and these new young folks seem to want the black, tactacool guns...

    I have my Dads scope ,its the twin to your find, I have it mounted on a Win mod 52 sporter, its my squirrel getter. One of the few non AO scopes that work with my old eyes. Put me on the list if U decide to sell. very best
