    The new ax338 is configurable to 300wm and 308 according to the press release. Its basically the psr, except you buy the bolt+barrel seperately.

    I'd trade my AE+some cash for any AI with a 308 + 22lr conversion in a heartbeat. Doubt it though ;)

    Are Air rifles the pacifier or alternative to ammo availability & cost?

    Does anyone know what can be expected of the olympic grade air guns if you put a scope on it and shoot say 25-50 meters? Would even longer ranges be feasible compared to more powerful target grade PCP's, or could you boost the pressure some while still retaining its consistency?

    I'm guessing it'll all be about modularity. Everything will have switch barrel capabilities. There will probably be a short action and a long action variant of what is now the PSR, but they will be available in non-kit form, so you can purchase bolts and barrels later. AW will continue to...

    Went to the range this morning

    Nice! We need more 10-shot groups: This one was for score, not just trying to shoot the smallest group, but trying to keep rounds in (or at least touching) the X-ring. Still just under moa though!

    AI AE Mk3, 308 20". Received it half a year ago. Still very pleased with it. Really looking forward to the new AI unveil at Shot 2014. Might be a 300wm new-age AI in my future ;)

    If you don't need repeater capabilities you could go for something like a .284 or 6.5-284

    Which semi?

    This is sniperhide, so I assume you want accuracy. 16 midlenght or 18 rifle lenght ar15 with a good barrel and trigger + freefloat tube would be my choice. Alot is personal preference though. No experience with US brands, others can help with that.

    besides the .223 and 6mmbr, perhaps consider 6.5x47 lapua 6mmbr probably will give best accuracy. it's what the benchresters use.

    I don't do range days. I go for 1-2 hours a week. I shoot my 308, and shoot 50 rounds. (100m range, couple minutes from my door) I plan on changing this to 30 rounds, and shooting my .22 after that until I'm bored. Then I also go once more every week to train IPSC.
