    Re: 6.8 Spc, or 6.8 Spc II, or ? I got a 16" barrel from ar15performance in 6.8x43. You can shoot all the spcII ammo through it, and supposedly something with the chamber helps with accuracy. I've been very happy with it.

    Re: NOT a sniper by pay grade or anything special I missed the first three shots at a deer that was about 350 yds out because I had my scope (ballistic reticle) at 4x instead of 14x to let more light in. I was probably aiming for 900yds... lol. He was nice enough to hang around for the 4th...

    Re: MIL and MOA Range Equations Explained & Derived They probably copied and pasted from the 3-9 manual. Take a sharpie and a ruler next time you shoot and make some lines on your target. Then adjust your magnification until the lines correspond, and you have your answer.

    Re: Please recommend a good rifle for a noob +1000 for the stevens/savage 110 over the edge... A can of spray paint fixes the gray until you buy a new stock. The rifle in that form will be plenty to get you shooting. Get the Pentax for $100 if you must, but realize you'll be selling it...

    Re: 50 Beowulf optic +1 to the Eotech... I built a Beowulf for my dad and it's a cool setup. The 1moa dot in the center of the Eotech reticle is surprisingly accurate when aiming. I saw you found a leupold... post some pics when you can.
