Suppressors TBAC Magnus RR-K vs Area419 Maverick vs Without Warning CHAD

So clocking the ports at 12 and 6 o'clock? Interesting.... Won't that kick up a bunch of dust when you're on the ground?

Suppressors TBAC Magnus RR-K vs Area419 Maverick vs Without Warning CHAD

Curious if you compared the Magnus to the Maverick in its "long brake" configuration? I always use the Maverick with the long brake setup and haven't seen a direct comparison to the new TBAC offerings in that configuration.

Suppressors New TBAC cans for 2024

Does CLR even clean lead anyway? I use "the dip" on my rimfire cans because it'll clean lead, carbon, etc with a simple soak. For centerfire stuff CLR is hard to beat but in that case I'm cleaning carbon, not lead.

Did I burn up my 6GT at a match?

You didn't happen to switch lots of match burners did you? I ask because like you, I had great results with them in the past. Bought a bunch more and went to a match where I was suddenly shooting like shit and several of my bullets blew up in flight. A buddy on my squad also had several blow up...

Top Tier Scope for 6.4# .300 PRC

Based off your wishlist, March 4.5-28. It's what I have on my hunting rifle and it really has no equal as far as features/weight/form factor. It's also one of the few FFP scopes with a useful reticle even while magnification is cranked way down.

    Long time lurker from Oregon

Welcome from a fellow PNW dweller. I host PRS matches near Prosser, WA about 3 hours from you. We (The Lead Farm) don't have one every month like some of the other clubs, but we try to have 5-6 throughout the year as farming allows. Come on up sometime if you want to shoot somewhere new. Or...

    TBI,... who is to blame?

I've been saying for years that PRS/NRL shooters are going to have problems down the road from the obnoxious muzzle brakes that are common. Brake design has advanced to drastically reduce recoil, but at the expense of insane noise and concussive blast. I hope the research linked above continues...

PRS .22LR need advice on Suppressor issues

I wouldn't jump too soon to this conclusion. I use a suppressor (a Sparrow actually) on my competition rifle. I have tried with and without the can, and I get slightly better groups with the can on. Plus the can is just awesome and even with some of the faster ammo its incredibly quiet.
