Night Vision FLIR T-50 Initial Set-Up

Installed a beautiful Larson Electronic 27 Watt RED LED spot blaster and man is it totally professional first class all the way. The Red LED Light knocks your socks off and I will be using this cruising around at night with the FLIR thermal on when not using 850nm NV IR LED lights! I had...

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

60hz give you two identical frames each at 30hz, it is not true 60hz broadcast from the core. Humans cannot detect over 24 frames per second with the neural ophthalmic nerve channel, so video is produced at 29.97 NTSC frames per second to make sure that there is no retinal-neural interference...

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

60 hz is more of a marketing gimmick with thermal cores since they operate at 30hz and the video driver is amped up to 60hz. You actually loose clarity and resolution during the video driver overclocking the microbolometer since the thermal resistors are cycling at 30hz and there is some time...

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

Would be nice, but unfortunately I called FLIR Government Systems HQ in Pittsburg and after discussing this issue with them, they referred me to their Channel Partner TNVC. But will even be nicer with the 100mm T-75 on the top rail in front of the ELCAN!

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

Thank you, since I own two T-70s, after I use the T-75 on the .308s, I may want to do this. I assume any firmware updates since initial release on my early model T-70s will also be applied at the factory while it is there too.? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk?

Night Vision wanting to add night vision and thermal to multiple rifles

\ All thermal weapons scopes and clip-ons by all manufacturers are all thermal video cameras and therefore can tap into their video feed for recording. http://www.phossil.com/thom/Night%20Vision/FLIR%20T70/8%20Hogs.mp4

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

For those of use fortunate to already own one or two of the excellent FLIR GS T-70s, what is FLIR Government Systems policy on upgrading the T-70 to the T-75? I had talked to them about this earlier and was told it was only available to a select few individuals like myself, but I am thinking...

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

I am going to mount a T-75 in front of one of my ELCAN 1.5-6X-42mm scopes and take some video kills and let you know how I like it, primarily off one of my shooting stands with about a 300 yard view. I have one place on a powerline grade with a mile long 100 foot wide view that I just mowed with...

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

Under 250 meters you would be much better off with a T-50, T-60, or T-70. Forget close range, it is a long range instrument.

Night Vision FLIR T75 Advanced Combat Thermal Sight-Long Range Has Finally Arrived!

Yes, the T-75 is a totally awesome instrument for engaging out 800+ meters, which is way beyond my night hunting capabilities with my 556 and 7.62mm. It would be bad ass on a .338 Lapua or .50 cal Barrett though when you could utilize all that power.

Night Vision FLIR T-50 Initial Set-Up

LOL, this is getting too easy.... I'm cruising down the forest road out back in the UTV with the FLIR M-324 running and see two distinct hot spots about 250 yards ahead, cut the engine and watch them darting out of the thick cover on the side of the road. Decide to exit the UTV and stalk up a...

Night Vision FLIR T-50 Initial Set-Up

Finally finished installing the professional Walker Evan rear shocks and they totally refined the ride on the UTV to a new level. These are the same shocks that come standard on the Polaris RZR 1000 Baja Race UTV except I talked to the people at Walker Evans and had them re-valve them for rock...
