    Touch-up paint is available in a rainbow of colors and includes a brush like a bottle of nail polish, but you buy it at a manly store like NAPA or Auto Zone not in the cosmetics section. :) Works well for witness marks on scopes, brakes, etc.

    With both guns, I get .75"-1" 4-5 shot groups at 100 yards. (Why 4 shots? Because that's what the Ruger mag holds.) I don't think that's terrible accuracy for either gun, and it's what Tikka claims it will do. I am probably leaving some accuracy on the table by not shooting hand loads or...

    Here's what my Ruger Predator will do with factory ammo at 100 yards: The OEM stock is serviceable but kinda lame. You'll need to hog out the barrel channel with a dremel to free float the barrel and it needs a cheek riser because the comb is too low.

    Sig Tango4 4-16 or Tango6 3-18. Full disclosure, I'm selling a Tango4 because I replaced it with a Tango6. The Gen2 Tango6s might be a bit too heavy for what you want though.

    Looking for good bags for bench shooting

    I saw a ton of those Bald Eagle rests at the local F-Class match. Couple of guys had some real expensive stuff too, like $700 for a front rest. As for me, the dirt shooter, a Caldwell Rock Jr and Protektor #13 were a big improvement over the lead sled.

    Cross posted from another short 6.5CM thread... This is from a Ruger Predator w/ factory barrel cut to 16.75" with the Omega hanging off the end. It was around 80* that day. The load showing is factory Hornady Match w/ 140gr ELD-M. This is also a 5-shot string. I don't regret cutting...

    260 Rem factory match ammo is not nearly as easy to find as 6.5 CM and 6.5 factory match ammo is available in far more loadings (hunting and plinking ammo too).

    That appears to be a Manfrotto 190XPROB or its successor, the 190XPRO3. They're around $180 new but can be found on eBay for less. Be sure to budget for a tripod head. I have a 190XPROB as well, great tripod. I have a 460MG head on mine but ball heads are very popular too. Enjoy your trip...
