    Pacific Tool & Gauge drama unfolding

    I have had dozens of dealings with PT&G and never a problem. I have built (4) rem 700s with their bolts. Meanwhile I know guys who build more rifles have had problems. My brother just called with a PG&G problem, the 44-40 pilot is too big for his barrel.

    I can't count how many Timney triggers I have but I only have one Jewel, on a defiance 7mmSTW and only one Trigger Tech on a Rem700 250 Sav. I have a lot of complaints about a lot of triggers, but none about those 3 brands.

    4895 in a 223 / 5.56?

    I got 32 lb of Surplus 4895 in 2001. I shot lots of it in 223. I got more accuracy at 200 yards with the 4895 and 55 gr Vmax and more velocity with H335 ball powder.
