    No one talks about Field Firing Solutions.

    FFS is awesome, but it's not as convenient. TRASOL (android and iOS app) runs on a cold bore engine and is a great alternative.

    For $20, I picked up a couple just to have. Could serve as a good training aid (estimate windage based on whatever queues you have down range ASIDE from the flag, then compare against the flag to validate).

    I mean, more BC is better to a certain extent. Your rifle/caliber needs to be able to push the bullet at a reasonable speed. i.e. You don't want to shoot a 230gr Berger Hybrid out of a .308 as it will be crawling down range.

    OuTkAsT - Have you used an FFP scope before? I would recommend trying one out before ruling them out. Although the reticle does adjust with the magnification, it never becomes unusable when the magnification is at the minimum power. Good luck with the purchase!

    I've been running one for 2 years and haven't looked back. It's a great scope, especially for the price. The one common complaint I hear about it is the 35mm tube, but it hasn't proven to be a problem for me. Vortex also has an unbelievable warranty and great customer service.

    TAB Gear PRS is great. If you prefer to use an arm loop, the TIS Quick Cuff is really easy and convenient to use.

    Valid question, and it's likely a nice optic, just a bit behind its time. Here are a few drawbacks of the LRP: -Turrets are very tall for no apparent reason (e.g. not locking turrets, not toolless zero stop) -Turrets have minimal elevation per revolution, which sounds like you're concerned...
