    Don't overlook the Steiner p4xi, it's a really nice optic compared to others in the same price range. The only complaint I have about mine is mushy turrets, but they are capped so it's not a huge deal.

    Tried my new RO had yesterday, put 200 rounds through it. It did slip forward every 20-30 shots, I've heard from others say that once it gets broke in that it stays tight.

    Yes I put a small piece of electric tape on it and it is tight. Works really well after I tuned it to throw faster.

    Tried my Rifles Only had out today, worked great for mirage although it was on a bolt rifle. I'm going to test it with some mag dumps out of my 10.3" 5.56 next. It does slide forward but I think once I get the straps broke in I can get it to keep from moving.

    I believe the stainless doesn't hold as good, I don't see them using a different threadlocker for the different finishes. There's no telling though, I have heard a few people say that the screws for the rail are much easier to remove on the stainless rifles.

    You got lucky, the front two screws came out with no heat just torx bit and socket. The back two didn't let loose with heat, I drilled them with a 9/64 bit and tapped a t20 torx in and they came out with a little finesse and heat.     Rifle Scopes Vortex PST Gen II

    Got my 5-25 mrad ffp yesterday. The turrets are definitely better that the gen 1 and the glass is better as well. I'm going to get it mounted and see how it tracks this weekend. I hope it passes the test, otherwise I'll have to spend twice as much for the Razor 4.5-27 with the same reticle.
