    You are right - No payments is so freeing. My wife and I worked our tails off over the last 5 years with a tight budget in order to get debt free (aside from mortgage). Without that, I definitely couldn’t stand to be on this forum - too many awesome builds going on!

    2nd gen homeschooler here, and I would also recommend the homeschool convention in your state. Historically Sonlight has been good for book recommendations, not sure about its current state.

    The lack of zero stop is a good point. I took my 22 with the DB Tac out to 250yds with the CCI quiet ammo to get some dope on it, and kept getting lost in the turrets. Definitely workable scope, but kept wishing I was looking through a better scope with a zero stop.

    My buddy makes a very good living doing this actually, and I’ve done similar things on the side. This was new to me though that there is a “hidden” not advertised price, even on the item in store. The Cabelas employees were shocked and thought it was a glitch.

    I used to work for Krebs Custom, and if you want a mag as reliable as a good AK, Com Bloc is the way to go. I just hate how heavy and sharp they are.

    SWFA 1-4, used vortex pst Gen 1 or Burris 1-5 xtr2 would be pretty good for that range. I’ve seen some pretty good deals on eBay recently on the Burris.
