    Rifle Scopes Hensoldt 3.5-26x56

Given the chance I would absolutely try one, but for now I am going to have to content myself slumming it with S&B.

    McRee vs Rock Solid

I have been shooting the Mcrees for a little over year now, and a lot of the positive comments I am hearing about the Rock Solid sound exactly like my thoughts on the Mcrees. To me the folding option is really important because I travel a lot. Its been all around Alaska with me and hasn't ever...

    Gunsmithing "1911: A Rendering"

Beautiful pistol. A 9mm 1911 is such an enjoyable gun to shoot. I love mine.

OK, this is rediculous! How does a guy get any trigger time with this crap?

If it is -20 F or warmer we will usually head out for some weekend range time. <a href="http://imgur.com/GKrZ2st"><img src="http://i.imgur.com/GKrZ2stl.jpg" title="Hosted by imgur.com" alt="" /></a>

    16-20" 223AI

+1 on the .223 AI with 8208xbr I have a 20" sps tac I had set back and rechambered to AI. It runs the 69 smk accurately and easily at 3100. Cheap and lots of fun.

Sidearms & Scatterguns How about some SVI artwork

Gorgeous, when I can swing it my next pistol will be an SV doublestack in .40.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig 226 X5 tactical vs. Sig 226 TacOps

I would go for the X5 just for the SAO trigger alone. I had a 229 e2 for a couple months and it was a fantastic gun except for the DA/SA trigger. However, that's just my personal preference. I ultimately ended up with an STI 1911 in 9mm because that's just what I enjoy shooting most.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Sti uspsa

I thought a lot about going with .40, but I decided to go with 9mm for cheaper ammo and less recoil. I am relatively new to centerfire handguns and would like to build strong fundamentals before adding more recoil. Also, i like to drag my significant other along and she prefers 9mm.

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Sti uspsa

Over the weekend I put another 264 rounds through it. It ran flawlessly with several different kinds of 115 and 147 grain ball ammo, however, it had trouble feeding some Buffalo Bore JHP's out of Wilson ETM magazines. They did run perfectly out of the STI/Metalform included with the gun. Because...

    Sidearms & Scatterguns Sti uspsa

After messing around with my Sig P229 e2 for awhile I decided I wasn't at all satisfied with the trigger. While it was smooth and clean, it had an excessive amount of take-up and an extremely long reset. I debated sending it in for an SRT and a trigger job, but eventually I decided to try...

    Ruger...Take Action

Re: Ruger...Take Action This is a great thing to do, but be aware, if you send them a form letter they will send you one right back. Taking the time to write a personal letter carries much more weight.

    Mcree chassis, Folder or No?

Re: Mcree chassis, Folder or No? I went with the folder. It locks up with zero play and makes all the traveling I do with it a lot easier. Plus, it isn't unreasonably expensive either.

Re: What??? killing dogs in -19 degree temps... PICS! In my experience -20 is just about the comfortable lower limit for stationary shooting. Looks like a lot of fun

Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig P229 review

Re: Sig P229 review I agree, I really wish they did the 229 in SAO. That would be the best solution to my trigger dislikes.

Sidearms & Scatterguns Sig P229 review

I was in the market for a midsize 9mm and I ended up picking up Sig P229 e2. After handling a multitude of other options including Glock, M&P, and XD it was clearly the most comfortable in my hands. Despite reading recent concerns about Sig quality I plunked down the princely sum required and...
