    Scope ring height, SPS and Vortex

    I have a R700 5r with a 20 MOA Badger base, their low rings and a NSX 22x50mm scope. It's perfect, wouldn't go any higher without an adjustable cheek.

    You may want to check out Oak Ridge, TN and Camp Lejune, NC (Coastal Carolina Rifle Club). That said, Butner will consistenly have the toughest competion you can find on the east coast for F-tr.

    Re: Remington 5R..Will Bedding make a HUGE difference? Use the $200 to buy a new trigger (if you're still running the factory piece). That should provide more accuracy improvement that bedding your stock.

    If using the same rings, would a Badger base with cant increase the height from the stock's comb more than a base witout cant? If so, is it noticable or not?
