    Rifle Scopes Vortex 4-16 HS LR first thoughts

    I had the chance to shoot with one of these the other day and thought it was a really nice optic. As silly as it is, among all the other things about the scope, I really like the red line on top of the turret that Vortex has.

    I ordered on the last day of the 10000 like deal, so I'm probably still going to be lucky to get mine before summer. At least I went ahead and shipped the 5-20 so I've gotten some (full retail price) use out of it.

    Rifle Scopes Best all around scope $1500

    I have the SWFA 5-20, which is on budget and a very nice scope. I also have a Nightforce 3-15 SFP that also should be on budget and should not disappoint. The HDMR is also a good choice as well.

    Brownell's Pmag Backorders?

    Re: Brownell's Pmag Backorders? I have an order for M3 AR15 mags from 12/21 and an order for 20LR 308 mags from 12/28. I've gotten nothing. DSG was the place to go to backorder Magpul products. I've gotten multiple orders from them.

    Re: ACOG TA11-C for recce 16" and 77 smk? I have this setup, but with the TA11E reticle. It works well, but I have not had the opportunity to shoot at range with the BDC to confirm. I shoot the 77 Nosler and I think that the BDC most closely works at 2615.
