    Google can be your friend. Lots of info out there on this. I load a 77 gr. SMK in front of 24.0 gr. Varget or 23.8 RL-15 in Win. brass and it runs around 2720 from my 18". Your mileage may vary so start a little lower.

    I just let mine soak in acetone for a couple hours, let dry then run them in my vibratory case cleaner a bit, clean as whistle.

    The twist is not the issue. I shoot 50 gr V-Max out of four 1:8 twist rifles with no issues. FYI: The 220 Swift is a.224 diam. bullet also.

    10.4 gr. or so of Trailboss and 170 or 180 gr. .30-30 RN bullets are your friends if running a 1:11.25 or 1:12 Twist. 220 gr. RN bullet if you have a 1:10. Start a little higher on charge wt. and work your way down to 1050 fps.

    Be very careful when mixing potassium perchlorate in with the AnAl. It can become overly sensitive and detonate very easily. Good way to be maimed or killed.

    Sounds like a nice gun. Personally I would not go with any porting due to being blind for the second shot if there was a confrontation at night.

    Try it before you put it back in the stock. You may have a slightly too long front action screw binding on the lugs if you torqued it down too much.
