    Out uf a FN 22fps may not be bad.... however... so you have heared alot about neck tension which could help, switching primers can make a big differance, but how your seating your primers is super important. make sure they are bottomed but DONT CHRUSH THEM. good luck!

    A powder that I think is going to gain popularity fast is the IMR 8208 XBR. Its temp stable, has a burn rate clost to Varget but shorter kernals! it meaters like a dream!

    I love my Kales with TDS reticle, but I also have one of the new burris 3-9s with their E1 reticle, and I think it has to be one of the best hunting scopes I have seen for under $250!! Lots of good options out there tho...

    I think to figure out weather a trued remingon or coustom would shoot better would be super rediculous. However you can get a coustom action with a better extractor for the same money. Unless you get a sweet deal on a 700 Id still go custom.

    I have found most bullets in most guns will do best between .003 and .010 off the lands. But some bullets may like to jump, Ive heared the Berger VLDs and Barnes bullets often like to jump...

    Yea set back and re chamber could help accuracy, Probably cost around $100 to have done. However Remington barrels are not usually that great and if you want to see great accuracy you may want to invest on a custom barrel.

    Anybody starting playing with the 17 Hornet?

    Yea aa1680 is the only powder I have seen 3650+ out of, Hornadys new manual shows a max load of 1680 at 3750 with a 20gr v-max! not sure all guns will get that kind of speed but my ackley hornet will do 3650. A pretty sweet payload from 12gr charge!! My 17 mach IV only gets a lil over 4000...

    The 17 hornet superformance loads are not loaded with superformance powder, Thats way way way to slow of a burn rate. I think they load them with aa1680.
