    Remington 700 5R: do I dare?

    I’m looking at a Rem700 platform 6.5 creedmoor for all the obvious reasons. Ideally, I’d like a factory 5R 20” threaded... but do I dare roll the dice on Remington’s recent QC? Also, does the 5R 6.5 have the same long throat that the .308 has traditionally had?
