Dean Irvin has rented a building to shoot 22 rimfire 50 yds . There will be an abra match 17 & 18 jan. There will be another ARA match in 3 weeks. its in north east Ms between Aberdeen and West Point Ms. Its called Prairie Station, more info on Pairie Station on Face book.
Ive been told that no barrels are perfectly straight and that they need to be installed so that they direct the bullet up or down ( preferably up i guess) instead of left or right. Does anybody know if this is true?
thanks
I have an MPA chassis for my vudoo, it shoots very well but i’d like to see if bedding might make it even better. Ive bedded two regular stocks and didn’t have too much trouble. I’m thinking of bedding the recoil lug first. Does anyone have experience that they can share?
Is there a thread here that tell what causes shooting left or right , vertical stringing and such? I’m shooting 50 yd, welded metal bench ,vudoo, center x, atlas, sandbag .
thanks, my plain problem now is vertical stringing
I have a small store bought bullet trap but it’s only about 11” x 10”. I’d like to build one about 2’ x 2’ . The back plate will be at a 45 degree angle. Does it need to be AR plate?
This is for 22 rimfire only!!
I have recently purchased a vudoo-mpa and i really like it. All my shooting will be off of a bench. i won’t need to pan but i will need to get cant out of rifle then lock the bipod cant. Which atlas bipod do y’all recomend?
thanks
I just got back from shooting short range. Its 6.5 cm 2650 muzzle v. 130 bergers. its 2 3/8” scope to bore c to c.
At 5x, my 75 yd and 100, look possibly reversed, it was misting when i hurriedly did my testing and its raining now or id just go back and test.
Do you think 75 & 100 are reversed...
Im thinking about a NF NX8 4x32x50 F1, to put on a vudoo 22 rimfire.
Has anybody done this and do you like it.
I have a nf and like it but ive never owned a ffp.
The rifle will be used on a bench with front and rear rest 95 percent of the time, maybe more.
Ive ordered a rifle and Lapua is gona find a lot of something that it likes.
Does a rifle ever change its ammo preference ? I might buy 2 cases if they find a not so expensive lot that it likes. But id hate to be stuck with a case or more that my gun doesnt like anymore!
