.750 tube diameter. Anything available in a weaver style? If I can get some rings by Friday I’ll mount this bitch up and whack a deer with it. May even mount it on my old man’s Marlin turdy-turdy.
Quickly please, the fate of rifle season rides on this.
I’m trying to consolidate my powder stock so I don’t have 10 different powders for my rifles. Looking at dumping the Grendel and going 6 ARC and strictly shooting 95gr-108gr. 18-20” barrel.
I would like to believe that factory ammo would be consistent but my experience with Grendel during the...
Winds are 5-10 with some gusting and swirling around tree and shed. Poor BC for a frisbee. May as well be a cor-lokt. Maybe Hornydaddy will come out with a high BC frisbee that won’t deform from atmospheric resistance. God damn Chuck-it frisbee deforms and floats in the wind. She went from 99%...
Seems a police chief and a FFL holder like their full autos. Law letters for personal use is frowned upon. This is all allegedly at the moment. Sad we cant just go buy them without BS...
New rifle requires a new scope. Just wondering if the LRTS G3 is thick enough to find in low light and brush at the low end of magnification. There’s not much out there at $1k or under that I’d trust. I’m actually looking at Vortex (gag) LHT but it’s SFP and at 15x I haven’t killed any animal...
Killing steel and paper mainly, but of course I’ll use it a few times to kill deer. Weight doesn’t matter because of scope and PRS stock on it. Looking at a 22” length. I reload so factory ammo isn’t the deciding factor either.
So I finally was able to shoot my APO Saber in 6.5 CM. I am not disappointed in the accuracy department but the factory trigger is not what I’m used to from the big green R. I’ve got the screw backed out more than a few turns and it didn’t make much difference.
I don’t need a tier 1 trigger and...
I found some of the 4-20 and 5-25s on sale at a very reduced rate. What’s the consensus on these? I’ve been out of the optics loop for a while and the only scopes I’ve bought in the last few years are SWFAs at different price points.
I know these had teething issues but did they fix the bugs...
Anybody here have one? Wondering how you like it. I have a T/C Omega that is very accurate but would like to have an essentially same ergonomically muzzle loader.
Either way I'm scoping with a 6X milquad super chicken.
Which will be around longer? I have a 7WSM sporter coming and I am ditching the barrel for something heavier. Some guidance would be nice as to availability of brass and the quality.
I received my newest issue of asswipe today. In it was the Col. testing the premier 3-15 hunter.
He really put it through the wringer. Yep, put it on his 300WM and shot some groups and even tested tracking. 8 clicks worth... north south east and west. All at 100 yards. Sure ran it hard.
Remington's site says 12. I thought they were 10. Are the new ones slower than the previous models? Please clarify for me. I am thinking of picking one up.
I got the latest issue of ass wipe in the mail yesterday. The new Mark 4 8.5-25 M5 is in it. The internals are almost identical to the 30mm models. Erector held in place by one dual bias spring. They were already rugged and dependable and met their tracking requirements.
Differences are new...
Those with experience with 22 and 6mm, which gives more splat on vermin and coyotes. Can't decide which to get a barrel for. I have a 9twist 223 and 22-250 already but thinking to pick up a 6mm.
Looking forward to the responses. Please give velocities and bullet weights.
