    best way to carry a rifle with a mystery ranch pac

    what say you? i know i could just sling it through the cinches on the crew cab, but i want some sort of sleeve because at night in the mountains the dew will start to rust the action (actually had it happen with a 1911). anyone tried anything for carrying bolt action rifles with the MR packs?

    anyone have any experience theyd like to share? im sure they aren't high end material but i am curious from people who own them what they think. apparently a 700 stock is coming out soon, though it has an integrated bipod which is a big red flag for me. i am just curious.

    i admit i am a bit new to the bolt action world, but shouldn't the ruger gunsite scout 10 round polymer magazine in place of aics mags in a remington 700 bottom metal that uses detachable mags? i was under the impression they have the same basic foot print.
