    Gunsmithing AI Barrel thread

    Lowlight or anybody: Sense you have played with the Change Barrel on AI's how tight is the thread after you unscrew the 4mm bolt. Is it a very close fit, looks like it comes out very easy.

    243 and heavy bullets

    I have a Rem .243 CDL 24" with a 9.125 twist and i want to get some heavy bullets and shoot long 700 to 1000yds. What will it shoot, i can get Hornady 105 BTHP or 105 A-Max. Will it shoot them or do i need to look at other bullets? A little help please from you that shoot a .243

    Anyone have any help or info on the CCI #35 flat head primers blue box V the CCI #35 Arsenal curved head primers white box. Any one better than the other. I'm shooting a Barret 99 at steel or rocks or whatever gets in the way. Thanks for your info.

    I have a .243 CDL that is nice and glossy, how do i dull the finish without blasting and reblueing. Is there some spray that i can use like a flat clear ect, Don't want to ruin the gun and it doesn't have to last a lifetime.

    Need some help on Rem 700 adj. It's the new trig with 2 screws front 1 rear. What does each of the screws do. I have done earler trigs but not any of the new ones. There is no screw in the trigger. Weight is heavy and lots of over travel. Thanks

    Hard water on Windows

    I need some ideas. Some of my House windows had lots of hard water deposits on them, used Lime A Way and got most of it off. Now i need to polish them cuz they aren't smooth, feel like they still have a film on them. Was thinking about Comet or something else, but what? Need some help on this...
