    Just wanted to drop a quick note that my Barrett 98B 20" .338LM launches the Hornady 250gr BTHP factory loads at 2615fps corrected to the muzzle (80degF, 65% humidity, 900' ASL, using a CED M2 chronograph). ES was 53, SD 15.3. 10 round string.

    Will the combination of a Nightforce F1 mounted in a Nightforce Unimount (extra high) be OK for the recoil on a Barrett 98B .338LM? I'm pretty sure the scope will be OK, but I'm not sure about the mount (would hate to have the scope slip in the rings, etc). Thanks.
