    short barrelled 338LM

    possibly going to build a 338LM, but would like to go with a short barrel setup. what is the shortest barrel anyone is running without seriously dimenishing the long range capability of the gun?

    1/10 twist .308 to 1000yrds

    thinking about building another .308 with a 1-10 twist barrel. Anyone have any experience with what bullet weight would be optimal to get to 1000 yards? -barrel length will probably be 20-22"

    del valle gunsmithing

    just picked up a rifle that Hide member Parga (del valle gunsmithing) put together for me. He's done a couple for me and does great work. I had a used 700 action, Obermyer barrel (20" deep flutted), and McM A5 for Ray to work with.

    Suppressors firearms shipping question

    wasn't sure where to post this question? what is the law concerning shipping a pistol? does it have to go ffl to ffl, or can it be shipped by an individual to ffl?
