MV faster in a bolt gun or GAS?

Rounds stick in the chamber in my LR 308?
Here is what is happening and I believe I know what the problem is but I want to see what ideas everyone else might have... DPMS LR .308 Need some load data for this rifle.
I was wondering if anybody has a good round for out to 700yds? I am shooting the 168g Amax right now. Does pretty well but its really windy here in KS. Just wondering what everyone else out there is doing?- RangerDan25
