    Gunsmithing Barrel retapering?

    Can my 22 inch 6mm Hart barrel be retapered from a heavy taper to approx. rem 700 varmint contour without making a piece of scrap out of it?

    Gunsmithing Remington model 7 magazine length

    I understand that the wyatt's 700 short action magazine box will not fit in a model 7.Is there anyway i can make the magazine longer so i can seat bullets to a longer oal? 260 cal.mag is 2.83 oal.

    H 414 in the 260

    Am i the only one loading h414 with a wmlr primer in the 260?I am getting 3200 fps with 100 grain barnes and 3000 fps with 120 nosler ballistic tips out of a 20 inch barrel model 7.

    Any 6mm rem. fans out there?I read about the 243,6mm xc and i don't understand what they have on the 6mm remington.The remington has a better case with a longer neck.
