    Range Report 223 77 SMK Varget speed.

    I have worked up a good load with the 77 smk and 23.5 Varget. All groups together average.51 moa. Its going to be awhile before I can get back to the range to chrono. Any guess what FPS I should be getting? AR 15 BCM SS 18” barrel 1/8 twist

    Comparing 162 Amax and 162 ELD X

    I have a good load for my 7mm08 with the 162 Amax using H4350. I still have a few hundred left but I want to start transitioning to the 162 ELD X. For those of you that may have done this was the work up comparable (same powder same OAL)?

    Manners Elite hunter stock same torque?

    Just received my EH2 stock with BDL Mini Chassis and no instructions. Is it the same torque for the action screws as the standard fill stock with mini chassis and badger bottom metal 65/45 ? Also did not receive action screws so it must use the factory ones??

    Rifle Scopes Leupold #4 Reticle

    Anybody know the distance from the crosshairs to the heavy vertical line at 100 yds? I am looking at the Leupold VXR 2-7 with the German #4 reticle for a light weight hunting rifle and trying to find out if it is usable for a hold over. Maybe I missed it but I searched and checked on Leupold...

    Range Report 180 SST Hornady 3006

    Have any of you tried these for distance? I may try these in my 06 for 1000 yd steel and Caribou out to 500 ish. The gun is a custom M70 with a 24" Bartien barrel 1-10. I may try a box of factory and then hand load if it looks promising

    Re chamber m70 3006 to LA 308

    I have a M70 in 3006 that I like to do something with. At first I was just going to have it rebarrled (3006) However I would like to consolidate my rifle calibers and was thinking rechamber it to a 308 as that is what I shoot and load most.     Manners Mini Chassis and Trigger Fit

    I have a Manners T3 with Chassis for a 700 SA. I want to replace my trigger with a Timney or Huber. I understand that the chassis may have to be modified for the Timney,if so in what way and does that apply to the Huber? Thanks

    7mm08 162 amax 20" barrel

    I have a 20" Kreiger barrel 9.5 twist and want to try the 162 amax. What powder would you reconmend and should 9.5 twist stabilize. Also may try the 150 SMK. This rifle shoots 140s very well just want to try heavier bullets. Thanks

    Gunsmithing Bolt function Problem

    Remington 700 SA, the Issue is when I lift the bolt and close it it will not set the firing pin. But if I lift the bolt and cycle it the firing pin will set and function. I notice this during dry fire by just lifting the bolt. If I lift the bolt and move it rearward just 1/4" it will funtion...

    Gunsmithing New barrel for 7mm08

    I have a remington 700 in 7mm08 that I would like to replace the barrel. This is a stock hunting rifle with a 20" barrel. What are the best options to get a good accurate(1" or less @ 100 yards) sporter weight 20" barrel. Winter is here in Alaska and time to get my gun projects done. Thanks Greg

    Gunsmithing Nightforce Unimount Torque

    I have a NF unimount on the way to put on my MK 12 style AR. The NF manual states to torque the cross bolt nut 68in lbs. My question for you that use this mount on AR rifles is what torque you use? I ask this because 68in lbs seem like alot for the AR flat top. Thanks Greg
