    Best choice for long action build..280 ack??

    Im trying to figure out what I want, My smith recommended the 280 ackley. My other choices were 7mm mag, 6.5/06 or 30/06 ackley. Any suggestions. I want to take advantage of the heavier bullet choices.

    This is hear say but I was told by a dealer that remington is going to discontinue the wsm's. From what I read and have been told there worth their weight in gold. I'm looking for a .270wsm for hunting and a 7mm wsm for the long range. Can I get the short mag actions from brownell's?
