    Help customizing rem 700 sps tactical

    I want to get a McMillan A4 or A5 , do you have get a different bottom plate, is there a reason to do a badger? I want a bolt from tubb but it's expensive. Ptg sells one but they ask to specify OD and I don't know what the heck to put. Then there's the recoil lug tapered or not? Do I need one...

    Newb question here. If I bought a McMillan A4 stock that says channeled for varmint barrel , can it still be used for my 20" heavy barrel from a Remington 700 sps tactical?
