    308 AR Information/Advice

    I have the urge to get a 308 upper. I’ve got a Psa 6.5 20” rifle. I’ve also got a 24” dpms gen1 bull barrel rifle. I’m sitting on a pile of 168 ELDs and 175 SMKs. I’ve got access to several really nice ranges. I plan you shoot suppressed. What do you guys recommend?

    Ammo Test Day

    I was able to get out and try some ammo today. I tried Eley Target, Club, and Tenex. As expected, Tenex was really good. It’s nice when things go well. Edit: The dimensions for the 10-ring on the A-33 target is 1.045”. It’s just about exactly 1MOA.

    Substitutes in 308

    I’ve seen it posted that BR2s and CCI LR primers are substitutable. I’ve also seen that LC LR weighs basically the same as Lapua brass in 308. My experience confirms both of these.
