Hi Keith, Thanks a lot for taking time to put together such a detailed response. I asked this because I have heard that some lower-tier scopes do not perform to published specifications in regard to parallax settings.
The spec says that the minimum parallax setting is 10 meters ( 5-25x56 PM II/LP/MTC ). I am wondering if that is acheivable at maximum magnification or the minimum ? I have tried to ask S&B but didn't get any reply so far. Thanks.
May I know if anyone has got the chance to get some hands-on experience with this new scope ? Does it inherit the "tight eye box" problem of it's predecessor 3-12x44 Elite Tactical ?
I have been looking for a decent scope that can focus down to 10 yards and so far I can only find the following two :
Bushnell 3-12x44 Elite Tactical
SWFA SS 3-15x42 Tactical
Both seem to have good review and I wonder if anyone can give some more comments on the ability to hold zero ...
Thanks for the info. Is the eyebox margin determined directly by the exit pupil specification? the regular 3-12 FFP and the newer LRHS are the same in this regard ( 12.1 @ 3x / 3.7 @ 12x )
I am wondering if anyone can tell me the minimum parallax setting of this scope ? I have tried to ask Bushnell on line but there is no reply so far. I hope it can do 10 yds like the Bushnell 2.5-16x50 Elite 6500. Thanks.
