Good SXS, consider an AYA No2 (Spanish) unsure if they are available in the US or an No4, usually a bit cheaper.
I have both Beretta (687 SPIII) and Browning (725 Sporter), both U/O's BUT both are too nice to drag thru the scrub chasing Quail and Pheasant so I have a turkish 20ga for that. not a...
I have 20 inch / Suppressed Kimber Montana as my hunting rifle.
200gn ELD-X
64gns 4000-MR federal GM large rifle primers
2850fps
Accurate, portable and light.
Having used both Stryker and Leica PRS. I liked the Stryker hd turret design but not the reticle. Leica glass is definitly a step up. I prefer plain reticles so in the end went with Leica and Ballistic reticle.
Only thing i wish it had were locking turrets a la the Stryker
Our latest pointer pup is a european import. 100% working lines both sides of the family. So different (in a good way) from the majority of the local "show" breeders. She is awesome.

think I may have seen that top pic before....................especially if you are not based in the USA
I think the same chap has something on order for me too, similar but different!
Tried all sorts of sharpenng gadgets. Ended up buying 2 good water stones and taught myself how to use them. Took a while but works and on every blade.
lansky I had was hopeless on large blades and filleting knives.
Me too although I hated the floating dot for a start but now I love it. Need another scope now for my other rifle gonna try somethng other than Leupold as I have them on all my other rifles.
I think Illuminated reticles appear a bit thicker than the non illuminated. I have an illuminated TMR reticle and my shooting mate has a non illuminated.
Non illuminated is definitely a finer reticule
Mainly because these 2 I can easily source at almost "reasonable" pricing. Already have a Mk5 so wanted to go with euro glass this time.
both have similar mag ranges and FFP with slightly different reticles. PRS is not a thing here so most shooting is long range steel, paper targets or when...
So I am looking for a new scope for general long range shooting mostly steel plates. We don't really have PRS competitions here currently.
Trying to decide between these 2 specifically the M7Xi 4-28x56 with MSR2 reticle or the Leica PRS with the Ballistic Reticle as opposed to the PRB reticle...
So I have a 6.5SAUM has 26 inch barrel and with suppressor installed its a bit of a pig to cart round the hills here. I am about to ship it off to have the action replaced with a Defiance (original M700 action with no primary extraction since new and despite 4 or 5 attempts by the supplier to...
