I sent mine in April 25th. I received it back in mid June. They had it about 6 weeks. The trigger was heavier though so I took it to a gunsmith and had the pull lightened. Other than that all was good.
I was able to measure my trigger pull upon its return from Remington. Almost 6 pounds. I "adjusted"the silly little screw in the trigger all the way out and get 4.5lbs. which is still way too heavy. I am going to take it to a gunsmith and have it lowered if possible. If he can't get it down...
My rifle looks good upon its return. The paperwork said they "replaced fire control with updated xmp fire control". The trigger feels pretty good. It breaks clean with only a minimal amount of creep that I felt before the recall. I don't have a pull gauge so I don't know what the pull weight...

I saw something on another forum where someone was allegedly told by Remington that they could just send in the trigger group for cleaning. I cannot verify that though. They have been pretty responsive to my e-mails though. You might get your answer that way. Just look for their service dept...
That's good to know. Maybe mine will be quick too. Let us know how the trigger feels(pull weight, crep, etc.) when you get a chance to warm it up. I liked it before, but I'm certainly no expert.
Remington has had my SPS Tactical since April 30th. I sent them an email asking how long it might be before it comes back. I also asked if they could send it back without getting repaired if I signed a waiver. I just don't want to wait for several months. They never really addressed the...
