    What’s your case neck diameter before and after seating the bullet? That will show you how much interference fit you have between the case and bullet. Too much means too much force to overcome and you get deformations.

    Too much neck tension or maybe just needs the stem lapped to the bullet. Take the stem out of the die and see how it fits the bullet by hand.

    So that they never have to answer the phone on why it doesn’t fit in someone’s chamber. Believe your chamber, not what the book says it should be. And because oal is a basically useless metric other than for fitting in mags. The tip of the bullet shouldnt touch the barrel.

    Exactly what I do. Out of the trimmer mouth down into the case to inspect flash holes. Flip them over onto the lid, trimmer and back mouth down into the case. Flip them over onto the lid, prime, insert mouth down to see you didnt skip any. Time for loading, you guessed it, flip it onto the lid.
