    Bias warning. Our one piece mounts here at Area 419 are honestly great. Unmatched scope grip, and diving board rigidity, as well as various accessory mount options and locations.

    Walk it off similar to how you install it. The hardware is retained by a snap ring to allow you to push it back off the tapers. So just give each screw a rotation or so, alternating back and forth, until it walks off the cap. Be sure to not just run one screw out by itself.
