    AR 10 Advice

The gas tube length issue only applies to Wilson combat large frame rifle length gas barrels. All other gas tube lengths are standard as far as I know.

    AR 10 Advice

16" intermediate is a sweet spot in a 5.56 if you ask me. I do not care for 16" midlength gas barrels, and if not suppressed 100% or only shooting 1 type of ammo, I would think 16" rifle would be a pain to tune. Don't know for sure as I have never had one. I don't know about 6.5 creedmoor in...

    Wilson Combat barrels

My experience has been decent with them on small frame builds. All been 5.56 though, no 350. Large frame rifle length gas is another story. They all shoot decent enough, just quite the headache with the gas system length on large frames.

Isn't the Wilson 16" 6.5 creedmoor barrel an intermediate length gas system?

Custom Reloads of Dallas reporting 15-18% increases in powder prices this week

Let them price themselves right out of the market. $60-$70 a pound for some of these powders is absolutely bullshit. I barely load anything anymore, between powder prices and primers, I can buy factory ammo for the same or less depending on what it is and I don't waste a bunch of my time dicking...

Weigh in on my next coyote rifle build

Bergara makes the b14 hmr in 22-250 with 1-9 twist. Could shoot 69 tmk and maybe even 77 tmk if you wanted to go longer range. 53gr vmax would be a nice bullet to use in it for 250 or less. Put crosshairs on it and shoot at those ranges.

Savior Equipment SEMA Backpacks... Anyone have any experience with these?

We just got a bunch of savior stuff in at the shop I help out at. Just from playing with it in the store it seems to be a pretty nice bag with solid construction and well thought out storage configurations. The pistol sleeves are actually pretty nice too. Zippers are water resistant and there...

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

I wish they made the 255 in a 308 size, not sure why they don't. I would love to be able to shoot them out of my 300.

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Wow surprised they are running that hot. I have shot 190 sub x 300 blackout factory ammo through a 16" bolt gun and they were averaging right around 1030. Most factory subs i have chronoed were way slow and inconsistent. I will have to try factory 255s in my 12.5 ak and see how they do.

Did you chrono them by chance?

Hornady SUBX 7.62x39 Barrel Twist Rate

Try them and see. I think you will be fine stability wise but I highly doubt it will cycle with a sandman k.
