    6mm Dasher

I’m using a .266 bushing with a Wilson .242 expander die and have been getting great results. Couldn’t tell ya what my neck tension is … but my SD’s are sub 5, rifle shoots fantastic. Gonna measure tomorrow because I’m curious now …

    6mm Dasher

Have fun! Go with a goal for the day, make mental notes of areas you can improve for next time as you navigate the day, and ask plenty of questions! You’ll have a blast.

    6mm Dasher

True. Definitely a PRS trend. Which is the game I'm choosing to play. Always important to consider there are other games being played. Thanks for the perspective.

    6mm Dasher

Interested to see how this works for you as you're shooting at the higher velocities. Trend recently has been to be shooting closer and closer to the 2800 mark. It'll be cool to see your results at the other end of the spectrum, being a new dasher shooter, myself.

    6mm Dasher

Barrel sped up a little more. Finally finished with increased mv at the 220 round mark - at least I expect to be. Settled into the below load. Shooting .3 moa at 200 yards. Hammering all the way out to 1k today. 31.4 Varget CCI 450 Alpha Dasher Brass Berger 109. CBTO 1.789 (~33thou jump) 10...

    6mm Dasher

N150 shoots pretty similar to Varget. Sounds like you’re on the right track starting around 30 and working up. If it were me I’d start at 31gr when using alpha brass.

Think I’m gonna sponsor a Team

I think this is an important takeaway for shooters to have. There are plenty of challenges that are placed on the shooter BY the shooter - not the organizations. It’s our personal choice to spend on higher dollar rifles and gear. There are divisions that can be shot competitively for less...

Did you end up sponsoring a team, still plan to? @Lowlight

SOLD FS MPA Rimfire Elite Matrix Pro 2 Competition Chassis

Do you have any groups you can share for both 50 and 200 yards?

    MPA Rimfire - Vanquish

Pass lol. I know some folks want weight for the hell if it. But after hitting 20+ lbs in a 6mm cartridge with balance … it doesn’t make sense. It’s just weight for the sake of weight

    MPA Rimfire - Vanquish

Correct. Different material. Removes weight from the back which prevents the need for more weight at the front in order to achieve balance. My finished centerfire rig is 22.7 lbs with 2 front chassis weights, 28” barrel, Ckye pod double pull, full magazine of dasher. Balances perfectly. I had...

    MPA Rimfire - Vanquish

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought you had a MPA chambered rifle.

    MPA Rimfire - Vanquish

This is exactly what I was looking for. My centerfire rig will compare well to this. What kind of accuracy are you getting at 50 and 200 yards?

    MPA Rimfire - Vanquish

14 would make me happy. I’m seeing 22 quoted now.

    MPA Rimfire - Vanquish

Has anyone taken ownership of one of the new MPA Vanquish Rimfire rifles? Planning to purchase one of these soon as I want a config that mimics my centerfire as closely as possible. Curious about the performance you’re getting as well as the balance with the Vanquish chassis.

    PRS Bag Fill Options Thread

Follow up on the SpexLite heavy sand … was able to dump quite a bit of volume out of the Schmedium gamechanger while adding quite a bit of weight. Still tinkering with volume/weight … but it feels much more stable than it did with the standard AG fill (I messed up and didn’t order heavy sand...

    6mm Dasher

Settled on this load. Middle velocity node on the rifle. Of the three nodes I’ve identified, all of them shoot half or better. This load is the best across the Chrono data and vertical at 535yds (what I had to test). I’ve shot variations of this charge at multiple seating depths, approximately...

Hilarious how hard some people (mostly fuds on this forum) work to be unhappy and complain about things lol

PRS owner is about growing the sport, no matter what you might have heard

Matt Stiner and the MKM Precision crew doing the same out in PA. Welcoming new shooters, being advocates of the hobby. Matt has spent hours on the phone with me over the last several weeks. Purely out of the goodness of his heart and desire to help a new PRS competitor. My first match was a...
