    Tikka T1x heavy lift bolt

    I have a Tikka T1x that shoots lights out! closing the bolt is smooth and "normal". After the shot the bolt is heavy to lift. The rifle has about 500-700 rounds so far. Does this match up with others experience? I have noticed on youtube vids the shooters appear to lift the bolt easily.

    Isn't PRS a run and gun event? I don't want to hold up folks behind me. I have a Sako TRG and a Tikka T3x but the recoil has become a bit much. I have gone to. 22lr and really enjoy it.

    I am located in Athens GA. home of the DAWGS...so comps in my area are my preference. I can't do the run and gun type comps. At the range I shoot from the bench.

    They do have it in left handed version! I'm late to the dance with this response but I just received my T1x on Wed. I also have a CZ MTR that is a nail driver.

    JGR, thanks for the input! When I checked those collar screws were loose. I tightened those and put the forestock back...problem fixed.

    I have a T3x TAC1 in 6.5cm. The forestock , I discovered would wiggle up and down. The 2 hex head screws that holds it were tighten as tight as possible until they finally stripped. I was able to remove them and take the the forestock off. my problem now is how to put it back on and securely...
