    Just a thought and I had similar issues back in the day rem 700 308, came to the understanding really bad barrel (chamber) . Rebarrel , with super match chamber. Poof! My problem solved. To many high production barrels, low QC.

    Questions on hand loading for m1a1

    Hi, would anyone have some precautions for hand loading for the 7.62 M1a? Already pitched 60 rounds for fun and quite to my surprise relatively a 1-1.5 moa shooter. However reloading the Winchester factory loads prove to be a waste of energy to even try to reuse ( brass is super stretched)...

    Just rebarreled sako 42 ,lieja 30” 1-8 5r , loading Gs custom banded ..267gr Ave 3007fps . Broke in with .300 Prime, way to much twist for that heavy short stuff! Recoil ouch. Solids nice to shoot now . .290 @ 500 yd

    $5 of plastic ( not a fan of any plastic fire arm) $20 of set stamped steel, reliability, unquestionably! Not actually as accurate as promised, a good show for a novice ( ouch) , for record ,not a fan of discount small arms , when they really are not -Ruger ,Springfield, FN , plastic also...
