    I finally got my 300nm in and had some time over the holiday to do the break in and shoot. Shot all factory 225 eld-m. They’re running 2920 on Doppler. After zeroing at 200 and firing a couple three shot groups at 1/2 MOA, I walked it out on 3x3 plates from 200 to a mile in 100 yd increments...

    Yeah he just wants something in a 6.5. He got a .26 Nosler from Gunwerks that has not done well at all. So, he's looking for a replacement.

    Is anyone familiar with this cartridge? I have a friend who is trying to choose between the 6.5-47 and 6.5-284. To me it looks like the PRC might be a better choice than both. He will be using this for a combination of paper and hunting.

    School me about 300 Norma Magnum

    I received my 300 NM in the Christensen MPR this past week. It does indeed have a 1:8 twist. I will post updates as I shoot and start load development.

    Does anyone have the 300 NM on order? I ordered one a few weeks ago and my gun guy said it would be 9-10 months. I would have thought they would be shipped at the same time as the 300 WM.
