I would go 22 arc, grendel, ppc.... better boltface options down the road than the Valkyrie. 22br would work also, but brass is very expensive compared to free .223 on the ground.
Anyone who enjoys shooting should have a 223 bolt gun. Start there.
My setup:
Cheap 24v 20a power supply, turned up to 27.5
1000 w zvs
Clicker relay
Water cooled
Going through 40 peices of 6.5cm starline it runs up to 14.5 amps on 90 percent of them. The rest hit 15+ amps and get a solid cookin. Timer is set for 5.1 seconds.
Anybody have any suggestions on...
It not often a 1/2moa load will work between different brands of brass.
I ran lapua 6.5x55 vs ppu over the chrono with the same load, It was something like an 80fps difference. Full length sizing and annealing could make a difference.
With a 1.35 action, I would say a 1.25 blank is all you need. Savage runs a short 1.12 barrel nut tennon for the longer 338lm cartridge. I can't see 1.250 being a problem.
I have an Argos btr gen1 6-24 on my 12FV Savage.....in 6.5CM. My sample of one has been a lot of fun for the the 5 years Ive had it. I would suggest it to all the poors who want a fun range gun.
I'll take an 1/8" slimmer p365. I like the slide width and length of the lcp and the grip length of p365.
I'm too lazy/uneducated to build this fantasy gun myself. I would wager people would love it.
All hate so far. How about a thinner p365 30sc?
Awesome website to show proportions:

Would you buy a 30sc the size of a ruger lcp or is p365 the smallest you would go? The little pocket pistols suck shooting with a 380, 30sc might be a beetch.
I was looking at that exact barrel, would be perfect if it shot well. How did this end up?
The other one on my list is the faxon gunner 18, it's lite and I wouldn't expect it to match an spr contour. I probably need to get a cut rifled barrel to hit my weight and accuracy goals.
Tougher bolt than a grendel/arc, little more capacity in the mag. With quality bullets a 22 nosgar could do a lot of damage. Nosler should sell 22 nosgar brass, they are idiots for not doing it.
