Tell us about the one that got away, the flier that ruined your group, the zero that drifted, the shot you still see when you close your eyes. Winner will receive a free scope!
I just used the kitchen cabinets from Lowes, have worked great for years. I agree open cabinets will make you keep them organized, but I don’t like anyone being able to see what I have either.
I put the CZ Mag bottom metal in my 6.5 Grendel Howa and it works great. I was afraid it would limit me on COAL but so far on 4 different bullets it hasn’t been an issue. You can find the CZ mags pretty easy too, I didn’t have a problem finding the Grendel mags and I saw a lot 223mags in stock too.
My first bench I built many years ago, and I put a shelf under it where I stored loaded ammo. The extra weight under the bench made a big difference in stability. Just a thought.
I put in 8’ of base cabinets and covered the top with 2 layers of 3/4” plywood glued together, makes a super solid bench and gives you plenty of storage.
Mine has been a work in progress for years. I put the cabinets in when I built the mancave addition and have adding and changing it since then. I have another bench also, but it’s so junked up I didn’t put it in. The cabinet is powder and brass storage.
