    I'm glad to hear that. I am ordering the shorty Kyntec for my RoyalArms TacAR stock on my 6.5, and am happy to hear positive things about it before spending over $100 on a buffer.

    Buy or build?

    I don't what fluting runs, but when I started piecing everything together to build a light rifle, I decided on a Proof Research barrel from Ranier. $827, but accurate and very light. I'm building a 24" gas gun, but was also considering the long treks through the woods.

    Rifle Scopes Another scope selection

    The Schmidt Bender is on Scopelist.com for $2395. I think that is a smoking deal for the Cadillac of scopes. I just ordered a T5xi for $1528. I just couldn't pass that up.

    Anybody use the Kyntec hydraulic buffer?

    Since I can't get CTS to send me the buffer that I paid for, maybe one of you guys can offer me their opinion on the Kyntec for my 24" Creedmoor precision build. It's literally the last part that I need.

    CTS Aktive buffer

    Does anyone know what's up with CTS? I can't seem to get them to respond to emails at all. I ordered a buffer, and received a PayPal receipt, but nothing from the company at all... 21 days and no order confirmation.

    What type of case/bag are you using

    Academy Sports has a Plano WB that is a really solid case for about $110. The Pelican was right beside it, and it was in no way $125 better than the Plano.

    I really like the Elfman triggers. I have one going into my current Creedmoor build.
