    Re: Removing stock picatinny from TRG-22 Had the same problem recentley. Soaked in Kroil overnight then useing a propane torch and lots of heat directly to the screw heads, and the correct flathead bit, they came out easily.

    Re: Twist rate for .22LR to shoot 60gr subsonics Haven't. Shot any high velocity rounds like CCI Stingers in it, but mini-mag HP still shoot satisfactory. It loves the Winchester subsonic hollowpoints. Made some long headshots squirrel hunting this year.

    Re: Twist rate for .22LR to shoot 60gr subsonics I have a Volquartsen 1:9 twist made to shoot the 60 grain Aguila's. Barrel shoots fantastic with most all match and sub loads, except the Aguila's. Maybe the ammo is just not up to par with my other loads. Shoots about 1" groups at 50 yds...

    Re: Watch Suggestion +1 for the 5.11. Been wearing the digital version for a few years without issue. I must be hell on watches though. In the last 15 years I've broken a 5.11 Titanium, 2 Luminox's and a G-Shock. Been wanting a TAG, but can't justify the 2k for a watch.

    Re: Hornady AMAX VS Sierra Matchking 168GR Switched to the A-Max years ago. Much better expansion if used as a hunting round. Have had good luck on hogs and deer with just as much accuracy as the SMK. Also shoot the 178 in 300 WSM and the 208 in 300 Ultra with great results. Give them a try...

    Re: 60gr SS Ammo Accuracy has been acceptable, but nothing to get excited about. I bought a Volquartsen 1/9" twist 10/22 bbl just to try this round. 10 shot 50 yd groups average around 1". May just be my bbl, but it shoots extremely good with most other subsonic rounds and really likes CCI...

    Re: Most effective muzzle brake ? Just put together a Remington 700 300 WSM, with a 22" tube and am running a Miculek brake from DPMS. Inexpensive and works great! Recoils like a 223 or 22-250, but is very loud.
