    Yesterdays hunt. Took my 300wm with Atlasworx M5 3.85 CIP floorplate and MDT 3 shot Polymer mag. PSE Evolution stock, 24" Proof Sendero light, 4-16x50 PMII, Spartan Tac bipod and Spuhr hunting mounts/rail. 9lb including scope. edi

    as in original T3 Lite plastic magazines? I tried using the 30-06 version for a 308 and it wasn't ideal. Not very reliable if I remember right. edi

    One of our customers used his 20" stainless CTR in 6.5CM at the Guardian PR in Ireland 2018.. They shot clays in the sand bank at 1200yds, he hit a few with Hornady factory ammo. 20" is by far not ideal but gets there. edi

    Barrel speed of my 20" Stainless 308 CTR's and a 20" blued T3 Lite 308 were the same as a 20" blued Lothar Walther 308 barrel 1/12 we also have. Our 1/13 Bartlein Palma possibly tight bore also 20" was slightly faster. Also our 1/13 Lilja 20" Palma seemed a bit faster. edi

    Only speed I have in my head is from a stock CTR ~24" doing 2730fps with Sako TRG 136gr ammo. Still have a few boxes of the same batch and would like to test in 22" and 26" Lothar Walther barrels in RS700 as well as a 22" carbon Proof T3 which are new. edi

    I love t3 actions however if it comes to long action cartridges I'd go rem 700 / rem clone. The T3 action is just a bit short. You can get a 3.715 AI mag system fitted and work ok if you cut out a bit of the ramp but not the CIP length 3.85" which will also take the 3 shot MDT polymer mags...

    They are very rigid and strong, have a double monocoque design. No milling involved. Internal alu in areas where fittings go. Carbon shell inside the barrel channel as well as inlet and cheek raiser opening. No hollow areas. Yesterdays hunt, with two Danish friends, one of them a LE weapons...

    I am somewhat involved with the technology of the product as well as user/tester and therefore won't go into details. The stock is made with complex technologies which might be different to what is there at the moment. edi

    Not tried a 6mm Creed yet but have 308 and 6.5 CM which work well out of all MDT mags I have including the 3 shot MDT. That stock does not have an integrated rail, just flat bottom but can take various arca rails. edi

    Atlasworx Australia makes an Aics mag system that fits into standard CTR footprint stocks. They left the release lever a bit too long so that mag fit can be fine tuned which is sensible. Sitting in an Evolution stock from Ireland with flush fitting MDT 3 shot mag, other AICS also fit. edi

    Always grease the cam. Try opening both action screws by one or two turns and check if the bolt opens easier. Either screw if too long could interfere. edi

    Only ever spent ten minutes comparing 3-20 to 3-20US. Thought they were very similar then. Recently spent a day out comparing the new S&B Meta 3-18x42 with the 3-20 US. Meta seemed very good in comparison until this situation with a bit of glare and moist air. The 3-20seemed quite a bit clearer...

    I am using a 3-20 US P4Lfine as my main hunting scope since a few years, still is my favourite and most shots at longer range deer are on 20 mag. Only shot to 1200m max so far and got on very well. I also have a 5-25 with Grid2 but think the extra weight and extra size doesn't give any extra...

    Yes you are right, the old original AI 223 polymere mag will not work in a T3 unless the sides of the lips are filed narrower. Bit like Magpul mags. MDT polymer work fine. edi

    Wouldn't be a mistake to do a full action length epoxy bedding, even skim bedding. Set back all small upright areas, and have the action screw hole about 8mm diameter. edi

    There is a big difference between the two. Stainless steel that is needed for firearms is different to say marine stainless even if the numbers are close 416 vs 316.
