it really depends on how much you want to spend, steiner, iray rh25, sig the low end, tigir, Voodoo and eotech clipir the high end. 1.53 for scope height for clip ons.
I have a bering super hogster as well, but again lack of an lrf makes range estimation very difficult, no issues with the cv25 but getting rid of both and just having a sv35 on a dedicated platform for thermal hunting is sounding a lot more appeasing.
image isnt bad using a sig tango6t 1-6, are you taking about the sig sv35 lrf, ya to be honest the built in rangefinder and the sig bdx app makes my friends sv50 a gamechanger for him hunting yotes at night. lack of a lrf on the echo cv25 is a big loss
I have one, hopefully next weekend i will get a chance to go after some dogs, weather permitting. the last time out it wasnt set to recoil record so no videos, havent had any issues with collimation. with regards someone commments about the sig bdx app in these thngs, a short video of my...
starting point is 1x, ran it behind a sig tango6t, and an old hennie 4-16, 6x it becomes fairly pixelated, no issues seeing and engaging yotes at 300, didnt have it on recoil record to capture the videos, fairly large field of view at 1x.
uirapuru, have 4 friends from Ireland coming to the match in March, since I live in the States they wrangled me into going as well. Since they can't have centerfire pistols in Ireland I am providing them. As mentioned above I would careful what airport I fly into, NYC Boston etc especially with...
Got to try it at 100 yards today, handwarmer behind the dot, 18inch ar, 4-16 hennie. Used a 1.535 mount, once zeroed I shot 5rd groups and removed the echo, done this 3 times, shot at 7x, higher magnification, image becomes more pixilated.
Don't think the image quality compared to other 640's I've used is there yet, refresh rate is good, I don't notice any latency when panning, now I just got it and I've honestly have to see what setting works best for me.
Short video I found, guys using it as a standalone and then as a sight.
well i got my Echo cv25 yesterday, last weekend I had the chance to use my friends sv50, as mentioned before the image quality isnt there yet but with the lrf, bdx feature i was easily engaging six inch steel plates at 250 & 350 quickly.
Onto to the echo cv25, played with it last nite...
Zero at any magnification, the difference should be miniscule with the vortex, not enuff to worry about. Hold overs and ranging should be on max power with this scope. Zero at 10x, dial for 300 at 15x you should be spot on.
