    I completely agree. Shots taken from prone are very rare. If you go direct mount do you have to adjust the leg height to get your angle?

    $650 would be the limit I was looking at about $500 for saddle and tripod and the rest for the ball head. I have a little extra security gig money coming in so I might be able to squeeze some more blood out of the rock!

    ok today me and the boys took a couple new sps .308's to zero at our range. we got my friends sps tactical zeroed in about 5 shots. mine was a little left, we adjusted and got it close but it seemed like most of the day i was left. please realize that im new to LR shooting and mil-dot scopes. ok...

    can anyone post a pick of what i should tape off. i know i have to tape the face and lugs, but is it only the front of the lugs or on all sides? im painting my Rem 700 sps so there is plenty of room for a little paint.. can someone confirm...thank you.
