    RIP my girl...

Re: RIP my girl... We lost our 14 year old boxer a few years ago. Boxers normaly only live 8 to 10 years so we got 6 more years from him than we should have. My wife and I think about him often especially when we see another boxer being a boxer (anyone who has owned a boxer knows what I'm...

Smith & Wesson did it right - 300 Whisper

Re: Smith & Wesson did it right - 300 Whisper My next AR build is going to be at the minimum an upper in 300 AAC Blackout and at maximum expense a whole rifle. From what I’ve read about the ballistics of the 300 AAC Blackout it is a great deer hunting round as it’s effective range fits into...

Hawaii-Five O disrespects Pearl Harbor Veterans!!!

Re: Hawaii-Five O disrespects Pearl Harbor Veterans!!! I live by the old proverbs like: believe half of what you read and none of what you hear. In the case of the "fourth estate" ie: news companies, they stretch the truth to the limit to create news which when thoroughly investigated truns...

274 U.S. Troops remains found at landfill?

Re: 274 U.S. Troops remains found at landfill? <span style="font-style: italic">I think the issue is the disrespectful treatment of the pieces. They were thrown in the trash. They were discarded as trash, in a landfill, where we dispose of our TRASH. They should have all been disposed of...

What's the successor cartridge to the 5.56 NATO?

Re: What's the successor cartridge to the 5.56 NATO? I think at the time the need to find a replacement weapon for the M1 and M14, the recoil of the 30-06 and 7.62mm is much greater than the 5.56mm round which does affect how a well soldier might shoot. So another plus for the .300 AAC...

What's the successor cartridge to the 5.56 NATO?

Re: What's the successor cartridge to the 5.56 NATO? Economically speaking, I cannot see the US and NATO going to a new round that wouldn't fit into the existing M16 platform or into the existing M16 magazines. So I'm going to ASSUME that any "new round" would have to fit into the magazines...

    AR15 jamming / Malfunctioning

Re: AR15 jamming. I built an AR15 with an ATI lower with Model 1 Sales parts throughout it( complete upper, trigger kit, 20" barrel, six way adjustable stock, and small parts kit). It also has a Nokick Enidine recoil reducer because I have retinal detachment issues with both of my eyes...
