    well that was weird, I opened a new tab to post this and it aut logged me in. I have the main forum page up and it shows me as not logged in (even when I refresh it still asks me to log in). I right-click on a sub forum and I am logged in on that page. interesting.

    If quick-detach is the deciding factor then Bobro is the option you need to look at. Otherwise, the Spuhr is fantastic. Finally, since it is a fine piece of German engineering, you could take a look at Era-Tac/Recknagel mounts as well.

    Which plate carrier & Plates are good quality not too heavy or expensive?

    A little more info on the Tyr plates, they are Paraclete plates that ARE certified. The info on the website is a bit misleading. I bought several sets. Excellent price for what you get.
