    I was in high-school in the 90s. I had a buddy who's first car was a 75 Olds delta 88. That fool could drive!. He had 70's boats as long as I knew him after. At least 20 years.

    My wife gave me an atlatl for my birthday a few years back. I never played with it much because I lived in town at the time. This reminds me it's time to bring it up from the basement.

    "My ears!" I had the same thing the first time I ate one. My ears were ringing and I had to take a knee. They are HOT! Surprisingly decent flavor though. A bit sweet.

    I became my Grandpa today. I took my boys to a terrible movie. I fell asleep a couple minutes in. Apparently at some point the little boy character in the movie called out "Papa Papa" and I loudly told him to be quiet... Makes me think of my gramps "resting his eyes" while we watched Lone Ranger.

    I live in a non- Waffle House area, but when I lived down South.... this sums it up. Went after bar most nights. Even met a dude trying to talk me into a pyramid scheme. Waffle House was my go to outside of chow hall. It's been years but I miss it still.
