I shot some Hornady 109 ELDM and Berger 109 Hybrid from a 20" Carbon Six barrel last weekend. Over 34 grains of Varget, they were running 2897 and 2899 respectively.

    7mm PRC

As an aside to post 687, I recently purchased a Springfield Waypoint 2020 in 7 PRC. It came with one 3-round Accurate Mag 3.850". I bought two 5-round Magpul AICS L mags to supplement. Unfortunately, the Magpul feed lips are slightly too thick to clear the receiver mag cut. Posting so others...

Very well. We were shooting at 600 and I did not measure group size. My previous 5 shot group size with the same load at 100 was .325 MOA.

Tikka 6.5 CTR any regrets not going 24”?

I have the 20" CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor and am very happy with it. I shoot suppressed 99% of the time and find the longer barrel cumbersome. As for the lost 100 fps, it's not a problem shooting paper and steel at known distances.

RL TS 15.5 shoots well in my rifle. This is from a 7.5 twist 22" barrel. Temp was + 24 F. Shot 3 was operator error. MV and SD are for 10 shots.

Thanks. It appears I need to tweak the mag spring a bit. I will do that.

    Tikka T3 Thread

I'm having feeding issues with my Tikka T3X CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor. Rounds 9 and 10 will not feed. The bullet tip is not high enough to chamber. Suggestions? Thanks.

Great stuff. Thanks! What's been your experience with the "TS" feature of RL 15.5? Here in the Big Empty, I can expect to shoot in temps from + 10F to + 85F. Thanks again.

Sir - Thanks for your note. It appears my post was unclear. My bad. I'm not chasing velocity. My interest is in reducing my SD and ES. In my limited 6GT experience, it seems that's easier done with Varget than with H4350 - at least with 105 - 112 grain bullets.

Thanks for the feedback. The barrel is 21.5" from Straight Jacket Armory. My sense is that Varget is the optimal powder for the 6GT. I'm not sure it's worth my while to use anything else.

I loaded up 10 rounds of the 112 Matchburner over 36.3 grains H4350. The results were mediocre. I've had much better numbers with Varget.

I have a box of 112 Match Burners to experiment with. Any suggestions using Varget or H4350? Thanks.

I've been using mostly Varget. What powder charge works best for you with the 112 MB?

Looking for an accurate compact bolt gun in .308

I have the Tikka T3X CTR 20" in 6.5. If the 308 shoots anything like it, you'll have a very accurate rifle at a great price. Check Euro Optic for prices. Last I checked, the CTR was about $1075 net.
