    Continuous scope ring slippage

Is this on a remington action? If so, have you bedded the base? The back shelf can be low or sometimes high (ive mostly seen low) causing a bow in the pic rail. Bedding will fill that gap and get your rings in alignment. If you can give us some rifle specs and/or pics we can probably help. If...

Gents, Does anyone know where a guy could buy a set of off the shelf 338 snipe tac dies? Thank you Scott

Rifle Scopes Raptar-S, ES zero procedure

If you dont mind please PM me those videos. I believe I have reached out to most of them, but you definitely do NOT want to do this. If you do this, the farther out you go the farther you are vertically away from the target. For example: If your offset ends up being 1 mil at 100 yds that means...

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

Gotcha, its honestly negligible. For example, if you are running the impact for 27 hrs the remote will take up 11minutes of that. Thats assuming you use the remote every 5 minutes during that 27hrs. Does that answer your question?

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

Yes sir.We do/did extensive testing. As a result of this, but mainly the design, the first battery I had in my remote lasted almost 3 yrs. This can,of course, vary depending on use case. As I mentioned previously, I originally had all of the same reservations. Now I'm in the camp of, "why...

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

One thing to maybe keep in mind is that the Impact has been on the market for less than 10 months. So its still a new product for us. I can say with confidence you have nothing to worry about. Hope that helps. Feel free to reach out anytime. v/r Scott

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

The unit has its primary controls directly on it. If by chance you do lose the remote the Impact is 100% usable. It would be a mild inconvenience until you were able to contact us so we could send you a replacement.

    Vortex Impact 4000 Gen 2

I I wouldn't let that sway you. We put in a lot of work to make sure that you don't get burned by connectivity. I've literally never had a remote not connect once it's been connected. Regarding bluetooth, I personally made all the same arguments that are mentioned in this thread when we were...

    Vortex Impact 4000 and Razor 4000 mini-review.

No, you wouldn't want to do that. If you did that you would need to dial your 1000yd dope everytime you wanted to range something. You want your scope at its zero range. For most of us that's 100yds. I am using the 1000yds or farther target to get the rangefinder aligned to my reticle at its...

    10yd parallax scopes

Strike Eagle 3-18 goes down to 10. 5-25 Strike Eagle and Venom go down to 15. All three are well below $1k. They also have exceptional FOV that rivals or exceeds "alpha" level scopes. Feel free to hit me up with any questions via this thread, PM, or a call. -Scott

    Vortex Impact 4000 and Razor 4000 mini-review.

You can run offset to your reticle or you can zero the impact to your scope reticle at a distance that is close to the farthest distance you'd be shooting/ranging at. I personally like zeroing the impact to my scope reticle at 1100-1500yds. I feel this method is more precise than measuring an...

    Vortex Impact 4000 and Razor 4000 mini-review.

This will depend on what you are trying to range. If the target is the first thing the laser can possibly hit then first is the best mode. If you are ranging through a pocket of trees/bushes and the target is pretty much the last thing the laser will hit then run last. Generally, normal is...

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Is the remote still flashing. If so, what color is the light flashing? Is it still showing that its connected to the impact in the "number of devices" bubble on the impact display? This is the round bubble with a number in it on the top edge of the display. If just the impact is on the bubble...

Night Vision Vortex Impact 4000 Rifle/Rail mounted Range finder???

Yes, it actually ends up working pretty decent at a 45. The screen may flip everyonce in a while, but its not bad at all in my experience. The screen, however is always in auto rotate. There is no way to lock the orientation. As far as brass hitting is cocerned, the only worry is hitting the...
